Austrian Pine Tree
The Austrian Pine is considered one tough baby! This tree is popular because of its ability to thrive anywhere. It makes a superior windbreak tree because of its dense growth and durability against strong winds. Not only does it offer beauty to your landscape, but its sturdy branches are resistant to breakage and not bothered by cold, icy, harsh winters.
The needlelike dark green colored leaves occur in bundles of two, are 4 to 6 inches long, and are stiff and sharp pointed. The cones are 2 to 3 inches long and 1 to 1-1/4 inches wide. The cones open during the late fall and early winter.
It makes a beautiful landscaping tree, windbreaker or privacy border. Looks gorgeous decorated for Christmas!
